Be a Visionary

Proverbs 29:18 - (ASV) Where there is no vision, the people cast off restraint; but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

(GW) Without prophetic vision people run wild, but blessed are those who follow God's teachings.

Vision, what do you see can you see what is to come?

God wants you to see what is to come.

Jesus promised that when he sent us the Spirit, he would show us things to come. (John 16:13)

Have you got prophetic vision, can you see the need, the goal, the finished product.

God has a vision for you to take hold of individually,

He has a vision for a ministry and he has a prophetic mandate on cities and nations.  Vision is always larger then you and often goes beyond the level of revelation you have experienced in God.  Vision is impossible for you to accomplish on your own.  You will need God.  Vision is large but its birth is usually small.  

Do not despise the day of small beginnings.  Vision produces a cause, a destiny, a purpose.  Vision produces a visionary.  

A visionary stirs up the atmosphere wherever they go.  

A visionary is a fire starter.  

A visionary is a revolutionary soldier.

Abraham, Joseph and Joshua were visionaries.  Joseph endured 14 years to see his dreams come to pass. Joshua laboured 40 years to cross over to His promised land.  Abraham persevered 25 years to see the birth of a supernatural seed.

We've been birthing something and the real sight of the divine is not yet fully manifested.  God has planted His seed in our hearts in this place, in this nation.

It is the seed of purity, 

It is the seed of passion,

It is the seed of power,

It is the seed of holiness,

It is the seed of truth,

It is the seed of a revolution.

Are you a visionary?

Grab hold of God's vision and you won't be discouraged, depressed, lonely, hurt or apathetic anymore.

A visionary is motivated,

A visionary is passionate,

A visionary is focused,

A visionary is powerful,

A visionary is a world changer, a history maker.

My Spirit is shouting, my soul is singing, my body is longing to see this generation rise up to its prophetic destiny.  God help them to truly get it.  Holy Spirit breathe on them.  Lord help them to see their purpose for this hour.  Vision needs legs.  Be the feet and hands of Jesus.  Make the vision real.  Real to you, and real to them.  

Proverbs 29:18 in the message Bible says, "If people can't see what God is doing they stumble all over themselves; but when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed."

Are you stumbling around, aimlessly walking this life.  Christian are you stumbling in your walk?  Are you falling for Satan's tricks of confusion and apathy?  Can you see what God is doing?  Can you see what God sees?

It is time you start doing and attending to what God is revealing to His church today.  You lack revelation because you have not sought Him with your whole heart.  You lack vision because you lack intimacy.  You lack power because you aimlessly stumble in many directions.  You lack purpose because you will not persevere in His presence when the whole world is telling you to come out and play.

I still see something better for you.  I see the father opening his arms to you, smiling upon you.  He's saying come to me if your weary I will give you rest.  If you are burdened with sin I will forgive you.  If you are confused, I will give you peace and direction.  If you are hurt and lonely I will pour out my love on you.  Don't stand afar off; don't let the guilt and shame of past actions keep you from me.  Don't let the world's voice be stronger then mine.  Come draw near!
